Hey guys it’s Six here. Many of you have requested this guide for a while now and I am finally getting around to writing it up! So in this post, I will be talking about the coin making method within Madden 16 since many people struggle with money plays early on. This method is easier than ever before due to the new hot routes.
This method also works for both Play Station and X-Box users, however I will be talking about the X-Box version in this guide since that is what I have access to. One of the most popular plays for coin making are Gun Bunch plays due to the quick routes that allow you to get an unrealistic amount of coins. I have found the easiest way to make coins is in Play Now mode with a partner. One person can be on offense while the other is on defense, however having one person go against the cpu works too. To start off, select any team that you are comfortable with or not concerned about losing to your partner with. For example, I am going to use the New England Patriots. Now check out your playbook, pick any two plays that you are comfortable with and make sure they both have the same formation (i.e. an empty set or a twins set).

Next make sure you are on offense and your partner is on defense, select the two plays that you picked out by pressing x (on playstation) or A (on X-Box). Now go to formation audibles and change both of them to impact tight bunch. Now move down to the line of scrimmage and select the first route group. Now you need to assign a route to both Y/triangle and a route to both X/square. I found that the best two routes for this trick are streaks or digs since they have the quickest release in the game out of all other routes.
Madden 16 has a new coin making method
Now it’s time to select a hot route for both X/square and Y/triangle. For the first route, I would recommend a slant since it is quick and gets around 10-15 yards. If your opponent is playing too far back in his coverage, you can use a streak however this will be harder to make since it is a longer route. The second hot route will vary depending on the defense, however I found that if your partner is playing man to man or press then he should use a streak or out and in otherwise go with a curl/flat route which works well against most other coverages.

So it may take you a few tries to get the timing down, but once you have it down you will be able to make tons of coins. Another method I found is if your partner uses man to man or press coverage against your opponent then feel free to use the slant/flat route since that works well with this type of coverage. If your partner is playing zone then go with the curl/flat route since it beats cover 2, 3 and 4. If you want to be really cheap then just use a drag or out route which works well against man coverage and most zones.
