A guide to hide and show posts on Instagram

If you don’t want certain people to see your posts on Instagram, you can hide them from specific users. To do this, go to your profile and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Edit Profile. Scroll down to the section labeled “Photos are Private.” Here, you can choose to turn on the option to hide your photos from people who you don’t follow.

If you want to take things a step further, you can also choose to block specific users from seeing your posts. To do this, go to the profile of the person you want to block and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Block User. Keep in mind that when you block someone, they’ll no longer be able to see your posts or profile. If you decide that you want to unblock someone, you can do so by going to your profile and tapping the three dots in the upper right corner.

How to unhide a post on instagram

Unhiding a post on Instagram is just as easy as hiding it in the first place. To do this, go to your profile and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Edit Profile. Scroll down to the section labeled “Photos are Private.” Here, you can choose to turn off the option to hide your photos from people who you don’t follow.

If you’ve hidden a post from someone specific, you can also unhide it by going to the post and tapping the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Unhide from and choose the person or people you want to unhide it from.

How to hide posts on Instagram

If you want to hide a post from everyone, you can do so by making the post private. To do this, go to your profile and tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select Edit Profile. Scroll down to the section labeled “Posts are Private.” Here, you can turn on the option to make your posts private. Once you’ve done this, only people who you’ve approved will be able to see your posts.

How to show posts on Instagram

When to use each method

As you can see, there are a few different ways to control who can see your posts on Instagram. Which method you use will depend on your specific situation. If you want to keep your posts private from everyone, making them private is the best option. If you only want to hide your posts from certain people, hiding them is the way to go. And if you want to make sure that someone can’t see your posts, blocking them is the best option.
