We’re sure you’re curious in how Windows 11 is faring in terms of adoption. Many individuals are already using the new operating system, as predicted, despite the fact that it is far from complete.
Many people are still hesitant to upgrade and abandon the OS they’ve become used to, but ongoing advancements and the reintroduction of some of the deleted features may just persuade them to do so.
According to recent statistics from a computer monitoring software supplier, Windows 11 adoption has surpassed the 9% threshold.
People are still hesitant to upgrade due to system requirements.
According to AdDuplex, the current adoption rate for Windows 11 is 8.9%. However, Windows Insiders are responsible for only.03 percent of this total.
Given that Microsoft’s new operating system was introduced about two months ago, this isn’t awful. But don’t believe this is the only poll that has been conducted on the subject.
Other sources provide a different perspective on the number of customers that are now using Windows 11.
Lansweeper investigated the matter further and determined that just 0.2 percent of customers had updated to Windows 11.
For the time being, Windows 10 is by far the most popular, with 81.48 percent of the vote. In terms of utilization, the new OS has just surpassed Windows 2000 and Vista, but remains well behind Windows XP and Windows 7.
The disparity is so large because Lansweeper’s adoption data was compiled from over 10 million devices connected to corporate and household networks.
AdDuplex, on the other hand, uses data from around 60,000 Windows 11 PCs that run its monitoring software to compile its findings.
The rigorous set of prerequisites for upgrading is said to be the major reason why most individuals haven’t made the switch from one operating system to the other.
Only 44.4 percent of contemporary workstation CPUs fulfill the system requirements for upgrading to Windows 11, according to experts, while 55.6 percent do not.
It’s still early for Windows 11, and there’s still a lot of work to be done before customers feel comfortable making the switch.
The same can be said for companies, who are still hesitant to make the switch until the OS becomes more stable, trustworthy, and compatible.
