Printing with an iPhone is easier than you think

Ronda Mcanne 3 min read

If you’re like most people, you probably don’t print out a lot of documents anymore. In fact, with the rise of cloud-based storage and mobile devices, printing has become something of a rarity. But there are still occasions for interior design when you need to print something out, whether it’s for work or for school. So what do you do if you need to print from your iPhone? Fortunately, there’s a simple way to do it, and it doesn’t require any special equipment. All you need is a printer that supports AirPrint, which is built into most newer models. And once you have that, printing from your iPhone is a breeze.

What you need

A printer that supports AirPrint. AirPrint is a technology that allows you to print wirelessly from your iPhone (or other Apple device). Most newer printers support AirPrint, so you should be able to find one that works for you. Once you have a compatible printer, printing from your iPhone is simple.

How to connect your iPhone to the printer

If you don’t have a printer that supports AirPrint, you can still print from your iPhone by using a third-party app. There are a number of apps available that allow you to print wirelessly, and most of them are free. Just do a quick search in the App Store and you should find one that fits your needs. Once you’ve found a compatible app, follow the instructions to connect your iPhone to the printer. Usually, this just involves entering a code or IP address that’s listed in the printer’s settings. Once you’re connected, you should be able to print wirelessly from your iPhone.

How to connect iphone to canon printer

To connect your iPhone to a Canon printer, you will need to install the Canon PRINT app on your iPhone. Once you have installed the app, open it and tap the “+” button in the upper-left corner of the screen. Then, tap “Add Printer.” Select your printer from the list of available printers, and then tap “Add Printer” in the upper-right corner of the screen. Your iPhone will now be connected to your Canon printer.

How to print from your iPhone

Once you have your printer set up, printing from your iPhone is easy. Just open the document or web page that you want to print, and tap the “Share” button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Tap “Print,” and then select your printer from the list of available printers. Once you’ve selected your printer, tap “Print” in the upper-right corner of the screen. Your document will now start printing.

Printing with an iPhone using other methods

If you don’t have a printer that supports AirPrint, there are a number of other ways to print from your iPhone. One popular option is to use a cloud-based printing service. These services allow you to print documents from your iPhone by sending them to a remote printer. There are a number of these services available, and most of them are free. Another option is to use a cable to connect your iPhone to a printer. This can be done with a Lightning to USB Cable for newer iPhones, or an older 30-pin dock connector for older models. Once you have the cable, just connect it to your iPhone and the printer, and then select the printer as your default device. You should then be able to print from your iPhone.

Tips for printing from your iPhone

1. Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your iPhone.

2. If you’re printing a document, make sure it’s saved to your iPhone’s storage.

3. Make sure the document is formatted correctly for printing.

4. If you’re printing a web page, make sure you’re using the Safari app.

5. If you’re having trouble printing, try restarting your iPhone and your printer.
