What is a Mac and what are its features ?
A Mac is a personal computer developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc. It comes with a wide variety of features that allow users to perform various tasks. One of its most notable features is the screen saver.
The screen saver is a feature that automatically turns the display off after a period of inactivity. This is to prevent ghosting or image retention on the screen. While the screen saver can be a helpful feature, there are times when you might want to disable it.
How to turn off screen saver on Mac
If you’re looking for how to turn off your Mac’s screen saver, there are a few different ways you can do it.
- The quickest and easiest way to disable the screen saver is to simply open up System Preferences and turn it off. To do this, click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and select “System Preferences.”
Once you’re in System Preferences, click on “Desktop & Screen Saver.”From there, you can either disable the screen saver entirely by unchecking the “Start after” box, or you can change the amount of time before the screen saver starts. If you want to keep the screen saver enabled but just prevent it from starting automatically, you can go into your Screen Saver preferences and check the “Require password” box. This will prompt you for your password whenever the screen saver is activated, which will effectively prevent it from running automatically.
